Rules
These are the rules to this forum. If you don't follow them, then you'll be in big trouble.
General Rules
1. No swearing! Not even minor swearing is okay. Not even if you're at the age of swearing! No swearing in the C-Box either!
2. Don't mini-mod! If you're not a part of the staff, I ask that you don't manage probkems because that would only make it worse, because that staff is trained to do this. If you find someone swearing or breaking a rule, report that person to a mod, and include the URL.
3. If you will be going away for a while, and you're going to be gone for more than three days, then please post in the Absences board, letting everyone know that you will be gone.
4. Read the news every day for important updates around this site. It won't really count as a rule, but it is almost as important as one. The news will appear in the News Fader, but if you miss it, it will replay, or you can just read the news in the side boards.
5. Respect everyone in this site. Don't say mean things to others, even if it's not a bad word. Try to find the bright side of everything and complement others, because you know they've been working hard! If you can't compliment on other people's work, then I suggest that you don't comment at all.
6. If you would like to do some advertising on this site, then please post in Advertising so other know where to go to find them.
Staff Rules
1. Don't use your power to control or take advantage of others that have less power, and don't brag to others because some people might be sensitive and be very hurt.
2. If a board is password protected, then you cannot peek at Modify Boards if you have the power to.
3. We will hold a discussion in the Staff Area, so please attend and you can take the chance to ask questions and make comments. If you have something un-related to say like "I love candy!" If you want to say something like that, well, it is not needed. So therefore you have no reason to say it.
4. When you are checking bios, please say nice things about them, as discussed earlier, but do not type up a million words on "How bad the name is" or "How un-organized these paragraphs are." Because that's for mental people to worry about, and I have enough sense that no one is crazy here.
5. If you have any questions, then please PM me, or let me know if you are not right for the job of helping run this site, and I can help you work on that. If you get any better at it later, then I'll considering making you a staff again.
Roleplaying Rules
1. Don't power play other people's characters! If you are going away and want someone to take care of you character, then please put him/her up in Temporary Adoption. If you no longer want you character, then put him/her bio in Adoption.
2. In Temporary Adoption, please add the date of when you would like your character back, so whoever adopts him/her will know when to return your character.
3. In each RPing thread, you cannot:
RP with something you don't own,
Type less than 100 words unless you are noting people of their mistakes and you are a staff.
4. You may describe violence if you'd like, because everyone on this site should at least be 13 years old.
Character Rules
1. The form for making a character is in the board, so please copy and paste it onto your thread and fill it out.
2. You cannot take a used name of someone else's character.
3. The characters in this forum are called "Stars" in general. If they are in a group, then the leader is called a "Star God". The others are called "Starlings", and the warriors in a group are called "Star Fighters".
4. Every month, every Star God and staff will hold a private chat and decide who will be staying in each clan and who will be kicked out. Only the best of them will stay.
5. For the first time that you make a character, you must do the RP sample part of the form for making a character. The rest of the time, you don't have to, but you can if you're bored and waiting for someone to accept him/her. Again, the same for Description. The first time you must write a description of your character's looks.
Group Rules
1. Anyone can make a group in the Groups tread.
2. You can make up the group's name, but it has to do with something that is: Fire, Water or Earth.
3. If you would like your character to join a group, you must say which specific group you would like to be in, not just "I would like to be in the fire group."
4. If you make a group, you are automatically that leader. And in the meeting every month with the staff and Star God, they will decide which groups will stay or not too. If the group is inactive or has no or few members, then the group will be deleted forever.
